Please read this page for complete information on all general terms & conditions, actions & procedures in any possible event, customers* rights etc.. While the information provided on this page may not be able to completely cover every single aspect of our operations, it is more than sufficient to equip customers with complete understanding on the way our operations and procedures are carried out to avoid any misunderstandings and complications as well as to inform customers of their rights.

Please note that this page is drawn up on a fan/customer-oriented mindset and should only be referred to by customers or any other users as the official guidelines. Should there be any complications, the information provided will always be referred to first and thus it is the customer*s duty to read it in advance before making any orders/purchase to avoid further complications. If any part of this page has been too briefly or not clearly explained, feel free to verify any issues you may have with us. AsianOnlineMall.com reserves the right to make any updates at any point of time and holds the final decision to any interpretation of all information provided here.

Product Information

Product Use

All products sold to our customers are intended solely for personal use and may not be resold, rented or used for any commercial purposes whatsoever.

Availability of Stock

As the availability of our products depends very much on our authorized agents (licensed regional/local manufacturers & distributors), some of our products may be temporarily out of stock at time of order. In the event of such an occurrence, our customers will usually be notified via email or Order Tracking page. The temporary delay should not take more than one week as stock are usually replenished (manufactured/imported) by our authorized agents every few days or once a week. However should the products be expected not be in stock by one week due to regional shortage/unavailability (due to limited production/imports), we would offer our customers the option to change their order to other products of equal value.

Information Accuracy

While we constantly perform content updates to ensure that the information provided on our online store are as accurate as possible, some product information displayed may not exactly match the actual products. This includes images (product covers) of some products which may vary from the actual products delivered due to regional differences. Others include miscellaneous details of some products such as the number of DVDs inside a drama box due to inaccurate information provided to us. Minor product differences (product cover, content arrangement etc.) are sometimes common for certain products as these products may be manufactured by different licensed manufacturers from different geological locations. However if any essential information provided on a certain product differs very much from the actual product (such as a Region 3 DVD displayed as a Region 1 DVD causing incompatibility or a VCD-version drama set being mentioned as a DVD-version drama set), we will handle all requests from our customers for a complete product change. (Please refer to our Product Return Policy for more information)

 

Shipping Information

Shipping Fees

The standard shipping fees for each light/medium-weight product (CD/DVD etc.) to United States, Asia-Pacific and Europe is US$5. However as a mark of appreciation, we may only charge a flat fee of US$5 for each order irregardless of the number of products ordered or even completely subsidize it. This special privilege is usually awarded to our regular customers that continuously support us by purchasing products from us. As for heavy-weight or extra-large products (drama boxes etc.), we usually charge US$10-15 as shipping fees, depending on the total weight or size.

In the event that import duties or taxes are imposed by the customers* customs on products shipped by us, the customers are to be responsible for them. These charges (if any) are separate from AsianOnlineMall.com*s charges and are made payable to their relevant government authority. The carrier may pay these amount on their behalf to clear the customs but they will be billed by them for it. Customers who decline to pay the imposed import duties or taxes resulting in the order being returned to us shall be liable for the order charges as well as all shipping charges incurred. As general information, almost all of our products (original disc materials) are not subjected to import duties or taxes by most customs but this may vary based on individual laws of different countries.

Shipment Option

All orders with value less than US$50 are shipped using International Air Mail by default. Please note that shipments by International Air Mail are not insured and AsianOnlineMall.com cannot be responsible for any damages or loss in transit, once the shipment has been made from our side. The customers choosing this shipping option should be aware of the risks involved and be liable for any damages or loss in transit of their orders. However, we do offer our customers a much safer and secure shipping option which is International Registered Air Mail. We usually automatically recommend this shipping option if any item in their order is worth more than US$50. Under this shipping option, customers will have to pay an additional cost of US$10 or slightly more but will be assured of their orders being delivered safely to them. Customers would also be able to receive real-time shipping status of their orders provided by the postal service agency. Should there be any damages or loss in transit, the customers are covered by insurance which can be claimed from their respective local insurance/postal agencies. Please note this International Air Mail/International Registered Air Mail service is provided not by us, but respective postal service providers. At the moment, this option needs to be manually requested via email (the order form does not display it) as we are still in the midst of planning our logistics support options and coverage.

 

Legal Information

AsianOnlineMall.com only deals with original products and all products are sourced from regional/local licensed distributors. All of our music, movies and drama products that come in the form of disc materials contain official holograms on its packaging as a security feature to ensure its authenticity. All disc materials have also gone through stringent checks and been issued with security strips by local government authorities to further ensure that it is original. As for other products such as posters and small souvenirs (bookmarks, cards etc.) without holograms or security strips, these products are also sourced from licensed regional/local distributors but do not require government authority verification stamps due its . Should there be any doubts or to further enquire on any product, please contact us.

Special Notice to Customers Outside of Asia

While we make the best effort to ensure that all products available on AsianOnlineMall.com are officially licensed and legitimate, it is the customers* duty to check that the use of the products ordered are permissible for use in their countries as certain countries may adopt individual local laws which differs from standard laws adopted in most Asian countries (Japan, Korea, Singapore etc.). As AsianOnlineMall.com operations are based within the Asia-Pacific region and our products number to thousands, we can only take the necessary steps to ensure that the use of all of our products comply with the standard laws adopted in most Asian countries (Japan, Korea, Singapore etc.). In the event any product is found not to comply with the local laws of the country where the customer is receiving and using the product due to local custom regulations, copyright and trademark rights, the customer must inform us within the 5 days checking period after delivery to make an arrangement to return the product. (Please refer to our Product Return Policy for more information). Once the 5 days checking period is over, the customer assumes all liability arising from the legal aspect of the product.

 

Conditions of Use

All customers or any user of AsianOnlineMall.com (including you) agree not to use AsianOnlineMall.com (this website) for any unauthorized, illegal or malicious purpose and agree to use it in accordance with all relevant US and international standard laws. Customers (including you) also agree not to participate in any activities which directly or indirectly harm AsianOnlineMall.com. No false information (contact information etc.) or names may also be used by any customer or user which could lead the act of impersonation. Should any customer or user be found to breach these agreements, AsianOnlineMall.com reserves the right to terminate access and all other means (including immediate closure of customer account) and taking legal action without any notice.

In certain designated area of this website, customers or approved users are allowed to submit public materials (such as media reviews). Should that facility be used, the author (including you) agree that the submission does not contain any unlawful, threatening, abusive, obscene or malicious elements or any form of spam. The author (including you) also acknowledges that AsianOnlineMall.com holds the right to reproduce the submission and use it for all rightful purposes which directly involves its operations including using it for general marketing activities.

 

Product Return Policy

Upon receiving their order, customers are given a 5 days period to check that:

● All products ordered have been received in complete form with no items missing

● All products have been received in good condition

● All products comply with local laws & regulations

● All products are free from any complications

● All CD materials are compatible with local devices

 

During that 5 days period which is known as the *5 Days Checking Period*, customers must inform us should there be any product complications. If the complication is a result of our mistake and warrants a change, we will offer a complete change for the particular product for free. In the event that a brand new replacement is expected to share the same complication or is out of stock, we will offer another product of equal value instead. However, please note that shipping charges (including those which we have to incur in delivering the new product to the customer) may need to be borne by the customer.

 

Please note that we can only accept product returns if:

● Product is in the same condition as when it is received (with the exception of the plastic sealing removed) i.e. products must be returned in complete set with no items missing, packing/boxes must not be torn/damaged, disc materials must not be scratched and/or in the same condition it has been received etc.

 

However, we cannot accept any request for a product replacement should any product complications arising as a result of another party*s action. This includes product damages caused by customers or customers* entertainment devices or physical damages caused by postal service providers.

 

Once the 5 days checking period is over, customers assume full liability for any product complications or any complications that may arise from any point of time as a result of any use of the product. Therefore, customers are strongly advised to thoroughly check the products during that period and inform us should there be any complications. Failure to notify us during that period would result in denial of request for any product change.

 

Please note that while we uphold our customers rights through our Product Return Policy to ensure they are getting the best, we reserve the final decision for any product replacement request to prevent any abuse. All product replacement requests may be forwarded to us via our Contact Us page.
